Re: You can get anything up at the car boot sale.

I think I will pass on that if you don't mind. Is that the pharmacist in the background ready for consultations?

Re: One of the problems with the Subaru Forester.....

You could always try the 'jam jar lid removal' tip of a chunky elastic band stretched around the filter. It adds a surprising amount of grip.

Re: Raising the ISO above 6400..?

I have just tried mine and it seems that 6400 is indeed the upper limit for Auto ISO. If you want to go higher than that you have to set it manually. Unless anybody knows otherwise.

Re: Tripod Head

Thanks for doing that Dave. It certainly looks the business and I like the concept of the small, independent manufacturer providing the personal touch. If I used a tripod that would definitely be top...

Re: Goldfinch

That's a very nice Goldfinch shot Dave. A picture of the EM-1 II and 300mm F4 on your Lensmaster gimbal would be good in your original tripod head thread. :)

I hope it's not from the pilot. "I've just found out that you have been seeing Justin behind my back. You b*tch." :)

The AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers team were performing at Great Yarmouth Airshow last weekend. In these photos they were circling over my garden as they prepared for the display. The wingwalkers then...

That is a fabulous shot Keith and it is good to see the 75-300 being used. Was it taken on holiday?

Re: "Chinrest"

That pooch is having a bad day. First he gets his paw caught in a small box and then a big cow does that to him. :)

Re: Tommy Coopers Pet Seagull....

Good one Mark. It seems to have eaten the tassel though. Those bloomin' gulls will eat anything.

Re: The Red Arrows in my Back Garden

Yes, it surprised me. However it wasn't 900 frames just on the Red Arrows. It was for nearly four hours photographing all the planes as they flew over to the airshow. Even at Sequential Low 6fps, the...

Re: Steam Clock at Scenic World, Blue Mountains.

Great shots of a very interesting subject Ross. From the title I thought it might be useful when I am boiling my eggs in the morning but I feel it might be overkill. :)

Re: The Red Arrows in my Back Garden

I ended taking about 900 frames and, surprisingly, only about 20 were completely out of focus. I am not saying all the others were good photos but they were mostly in focus. I had some serious...

The Red Arrows in my Back Garden

The first ever Great Yarmouth Airshow took place on Saturday and Sunday this week. I reluctantly decided to give the crowds and traffic a miss and do some tidying up in the garden instead. It was...

Re: Tripod Head

I don't use a tripod myself but DavyG once recommended that I should try a Jobu Jr. Deluxe gimbal. I believe that is what he uses for his excellent shots with the 300mm f4.
