Having tried it, I need to think again, not enough movement with just the bowl, looks like a gimbal, but which one?

Thanks guys. Since I posted my OP, I realised that I have a bowl base for my head which means that I can adjust quickly and positively. With practice I should be able to move the lens in any...

I have a Manfrotto 391Rc2 Pan and tilt head but it is not up to the 300mm Pro on it. I do have a 410 Junior head which is man enough, but very slow to
manoeuvre. OK for landscapes and macro but...
