Evidence given in Court is delivered in a very different way to an election or referendum.

All witnesses are required to swear an oath before giving evidence;

Witnesses are routinely...

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

Exactly. During the campaigning for the referendum there were lies, false information, pure speculation and fantasy on both sides. That is why the referendum was a travesty of democracy, which can...

Re: A Variation on BIF!

Affinity Photo has a stacking feature which can "empty" a busy street if you take a dozen or so shots, it simply keeps areas that are the same in several shots and removes the areas that appear in...

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

What I don't get is this sovereignty thing which people drone on about.

Large tracts of our industry, services & infrastructure projects are owned by foreign companies, and we are leaking wealth...

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

We've got much, much more to lose than EU. That's why the "negotiations" are doomed. We'll get screwed no matter what. We need to get this stupid decision reversed. Another referendum or a...

In much of Bucks and Oxfordshire kites...

Re: So there IS a magic money tree

This is the crux of the problem in my view, and it doesn't just concern government. As a nation we seem to be afraid of investment and are unable to look beyond this month's bottom line. That much is...

Re: Lousy TV sound

Another consideration with modern flat TVs apart from very small thin speakers is that many sets have the speakers either at the rear or the sides of the TV sets. Very few have the speakers facing...

Re: Cont'n of short trip to UK- Oxford

St Mildred's Lane is now Turl Street. A lot of the mediaeval names have changed. I couldn't possibly mention here what Magpie Lane used to be called . (You can look up its history on Google)

Re: This is how weather-sealed the E-M5ii is

I think I'll take it to the cleaning desk at the Photo Show and ask to see what they say about it. I can show them a phone image I got at the time to illustrate. I'll let you know what they say.
