Re: Rice Fields in Sekinchan, Selangor, Malaysia

Or the big flat tracts of reclaimed land in the Netherlands. Perhaps fertile low-lying land look the same everywhere! Even the architecture looks familiar.

Interesting to see it, thanks Henry.

Re: Bigma 50-500

Since the subjects are not moving too much, you could try using manual focus. I am getting the fingers trained to use it with the magnified view, and for the right kind of subject it really helps.

Re: Don’t ask, it just appealed to me……….

That's a very refreshing attitude Dave, I'm sure a lot of us can relate to it.

Re: Banjukes, Return to the group.

My understanding is that when displaying on screen, the pixels per inch setting is ignored. It just displays 1 pixel of image on 1 pixel of screen. Of course, there is the caveat that some software...

Re: PLEASE HELP! My E-600 may have died?!?!

To add a bit to Mark's comment - Luton Camera Repairs are very helpful as well as being vastly experienced. I have found them to be rather hit-and-miss with email, but several times they have been...

Re: The Moon and Jupiter

I rather like Stellarium. Among other things it enables you to check the sky in other locations, so for example if I am going to stay with the chums in the south of Spain I can check which...

Fingers crossed for you that you've got to the bottom of it.

Re: Olympus 12-100 F4 New, unused, UK warranty stamped.

I'm with Huw on this. Will take the 12-40 unless I know I will need extra length - the smaller size and faster aperture are both helpful. They are both lovely lenses.
