Re: Cahill's Lookout panorama (wide).

Thanks OM USer.

Here is a rough 'in camera' pano (using Lumix TZ80) of the location I took the above on my E-M1 Mk II with 12-40 lens, but I was down on the next level for it though.

Re: What programs for panorama stitching Mk II photos?

I had another go at creating another pano (further west than the one above) & had taken 20 images. Hugin seemed to not be going through it all & I tried & gave up a few times (deleting each project...

Cahill's Lookout panorama (wide).

I finally got to have another go at doing a panorama (no interesting clouds though) with my recent model camera after doing one over seven years ago with my E520.

This panorama view (2500 pixels...

Re: What programs for panorama stitching Mk II photos?

Thanks, but I don't believe in PhotoShop or Lightroom. :p ;) The only editing software I have is Capture One 10 (& OV3) & that doesn't have that sort of function.

Re: What programs for panorama stitching Mk II photos?

Thanks Henry.
I did have a copy of ArcSoft some time ago but it was installed on an older computer & I'm not sure I can find the disc for it now either,
but as you say, the Hugin is a steep...

Re: What programs for panorama stitching Mk II photos?

Thanks. I have used that (earlier level) before on an earlier computer I had been using. I wasn't as excited about it at the time, but then I didn't have a great deal of detail in the scene for it to...

Re: What programs for panorama stitching Mk II photos?

No, I have Capture One (10) & that doesn't have those other tools, however, I have now downloaded Hugin panorama software (http://hugin.sourceforge.net/) which will work with TIFF files & then I can...

Question What programs for panorama stitching Mk II photos?

I know the Mk II is meant to be for professional use so it doesn't have Scene Modes on it as the Mk I did, so taking panoramic photos is all manual, which is fine, but Olympus Viewer 3 won't stitch...

Re: L-plate for E-M1 mkii?

I have bought the ProMaster 'L' bracket for the Mk II that is similar to the generic (iShooT) model for the E-M1 & it is much cheaper than the RRS one, although I paid a fair bit more than US...

Re: Bigma 50-500

Very nice Henry. So what were they performing? Obviously Jesus's Crucifixion is part of it, but surely not "Jesus Christ Superstar", was it?

Re: Can't import using Olympus OI Share

I don't think it is the fault of OIShare that your iPhone doesn't switch to another WiFi network & worse, not remember the password. I only use my iPad at home & haven't used it for some time with...

Re: Banjukes, Return to the group.

G'day Conor. Good to to see you here again (even if my visits aren't often) & I also use Olympus Viewer 3 to resize (& sharpen) for web viewing as I find it so easy, & that's also after editing in...

Re: PLEASE HELP! My E-600 may have died?!?!

I would also make sure the CF card is not causing any issues too. Take it out & try the camera.

Re: Replacement for my FT 12-60 SWD

One hopes you will get the number of year's life out of the lens that it already had, taking into account the amount of zooming it gets.

Re: Replacement for my FT 12-60 SWD

My lens started off fine & several months later it developed the problem. I think it is an age & use thing & any 'pre-loved' one may possibly develop the same issue in due course. I was prepared to...

Re: Replacement for my FT 12-60 SWD

Then either repair or another 12-60 sounds like the way to go then.

BTW, I'm only a mere hobby photographer (if that) too. ;)

Re: Replacement for my FT 12-60 SWD

I had the same problem last year too & just had to use the 14-54 II instead (or 12-50EZ lens) until I had decided what direction to take. I went for the 12-40 Pro on New Years sale (end of December)...

Re: EM1mk2 HAS THE LENS THREAD CHANGED??

If you do 'file' anything back, make very sure all particles are totally cleaned up. It wouldn't be good with them getting into the camera.

Re: L-Bracket for the OM-D E-M1 MKII

I took the side L piece off my E-M1 version so it could be used on the base only for tripod use or making a place for the 'pinky' to sit & only fitted the side bracket when actually needed & maybe...

Re: L-Bracket for the OM-D E-M1 MKII

I've ordered that one through a local supplier as the US stockists seemed to be mostly for local US only. I've had to pay more for it though, but not as much as RRS. This ProMaster L bracket looks...
