Re: Wangaratta Camera Club Photo Shoot #01/2019

Good to see you have a "youngster" in the group. Clubs in the UK are dwindling in numbers and attract very few new members and young people are a real rarity.

Re: My New toy, MMF-3

Tonight I would stick to using the 12-40 Pro lens as it will perform better in the lower light being a constant F2.8 & focus faster with CD-AF. The 12-60 SWD lens, as good as it is is F4 at 60mm (I...

When surveying in Iran in the late 70's, we worked in 50' C. We could only work for an hour in the sun before taking an hour in the shade refilling the body with water...……….

Re: Escape from the Heatwave

May be worth trading your shack in Wang for a cabin in Hastings. What with climate change and sea level rise perhaps a boat would be better!

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

The trouble with Comrade Corbyn is that he’s a very angry disruptive politician who shouts persistently. Anyone behaving like that in business would be kicked out of meetings, and ultimately sacked.

Don't be carried away by the 'nice' middle class accent of a vicar's daughter, Mark!

She was a dire Home secretary and stepped in when Cameron resigned, miscalculated a general election and spent...

Re: Weirdest SALE

Given that it cost £50k 9 years ago it is not unreasonable. The biggest cause of price drop is the lack of people able to consider owning such kit.

However my dealer is supplying a pair of...

Re: Nesting

Wrong way round, Mark.

EC-14 and EC-20 are for "big 4/3" lenses - in your link it gives as an exmaple the 300mm f/2.8 which is only available in 4/3, not Micro 4/3.

The MC-14 is the currently...
