Re: Generating new interest in photo challenges

I also like the current method of the previous winner picking the new subject, as it has forced me to go out and take photos of some different subjects to what I would normally go for.

A proper little stunner!

I finally got some decent shots of a male Bullfinch this week, and thought he was stunning enough to deserve his own thread :)

The Wren and Marsh Tit were taken at Sculthorpe Moor, which is pretty much always my go to reserve now!

The adders were taken in Hoe, near Gressenhall...I'll PM you specifics!

Re: First weekend with the 300mm f4

It actually wasn't completely deliberate...I have a weird issue with my EM-1 where I'm set to ISO auto with a range of 200 to 1600, but for some reason it won't move off 200 no matter how dark the...

Re: Sigma 50-500 (Bigma), 75-300mk2 and Sigma 105mm Macro

Hiya, sorry for the delayed reply.. Yes it is 4/3...and as has already been said, the Olympus MMF-1, 2 or 3 would be the genuine Olympus adapters, but there are plenty of cheap alternatives around!!

I've just got my hands on a 300mm f4, so it's time to claw some money back!!

All show signs of use but in great condition...the Bigma is showing a little internal dust but this doesn't affect...

Re: Olympus ec-14 excellent

Hate to say this...but there's been one on the LCE website for a few days now at 100. I almost bought it for that price even though I don't want one!

Re: Is anyone using a Bigma on an E-M1?

The Bigma is as Mick says, fine at AF in good light, but I tend to use manual focus more often than not. Sharpness is good providing you nail the focus, but as you'd expect, it's a little sharper at...
