As I said in my earlier post the Star Adventurer really works well and is very portable. If you use your em1 with say a 200mm zoom...

Basic needs

1. A camera that can operate in Bulb mode and preferably controllable by software.
I used Olympus Capture to take the shots - its FREE.

2. A telephoto lens (for M4/3 cameras 150mm...

In my case the camera body is silent with a normal non stabilised lens attached. But both of my lenses with image stabilisation the 12-100mm and especially the 300mm certainly make a noise.

You certainly have some good data. I would try using less images in the stack. 77 is possibly too much for Registax to handle at...

Thought I would test to see if the smaller focus point made a difference. So mounted camera on tripod.

Got a sheet of paper with a small hole in the middle and placed a second sheet about 20cm...

Update completed successfully just now using Olympus Digital Camera Updater app.

Body now at 2.0. small focus points selectable, not tried anything else.
12-100. now at 1.3. focus stacking...
