Mine has been to Portugal twice to have the rubber grip repaired, Anita’s has not required a repair as yet.

Looking at the cost of...

Have you tried using the Adobe DNG converter Ron?

This would then allow you to edit your images in Lightroom 5.

It may be worth opening a free Flickr account to see how your images look when...

Re: Common Tern Fishing

Cracking set Ron, not easy birds to capture in flight.

How are you processing your images?

I haven't seen one back in our garden since I took these shots, the weather's been a bit hit and miss I guess.

Tranquillity

This image is a little different to those I normally take, I find it quite peaceful.

Re: Would you like your fish battered Ma'am?

Thanks Chris.

I've done the same, watched a perch they usually land on only to find them landing some distance away, keep trying.

Thank you.

The camera and lens were closer to the Puffins than I was when I took these shots.

I was lying on my stomach with the camera at full extension of my arm, I used the screen to compose...

During our stay on Mull, we took a trip to the Isle of Lunga, making a short stop on the way to view Fingalís cave.

Lunga is a beautiful little island and is a haven for sea birds, especially...

Re: Hummingbird Hawk Moth

Thanks Ron,

I suspect there are a reasonable number around however, they're not easy to spot.

Re: Hummingbird Hawk Moth

We planted Valerian in our garden last year, specifically to attract these, it worked.

I've been told they're also attracted to Honeysuckle.

Re: MC-20 with 300mm Images

Thank you.

These images were taken at a distance of approximately 12 to 15 metres, I did take images at a greater distance however, due to heat haze they lost detail.
