Re: OM-D .ORF RAW files not showing in Bridge 6

Communication between Aperture and Lr goes with 16 bit TIFF files in ProPhotoRGB colorspace in my case.
The ACR (or Lr) <> Ps advantage should be that you can swap RAW files trough 'Open as smart...

Re: Pany 7-14 on OM-D

Re: OM-D .ORF RAW files not showing in Bridge 6

I agree on the improvements that Adobe has made in upgrading the RAW process 2010 to 2012. The automatic process is very good. However there is one major drawback which I hate Adobe for and that is...

Re: Aperture App

I am not sure which app you refer to (I cannot find an app called 'Aperture' in the App store), but I am pretty sure Apple did not release an iPad version of Aperture.

So the answer is no, I guess.

Re: OM-D .ORF RAW files not showing in Bridge 6

I do agree with you that Aperture is in need of an update, but as an Aperture user I am just curious: which features are you missing in Aperture that are present in Lightroom?

Re: Pany 7-14 on OM-D

Same as StephenL.
I miss the 'sparkle' in the photographs taken with the Panny 7-14, which does show in my pics with the Samyang 7.5.

Here is an example (http://360vr.nl/VSMloods) of the quality...

Exclamation Re: usb cable

Hi Davis,

Please be aware that the E-1 and E330 use totally different cables which are NOT compatible!

The E-1 has a standard USB mini-A cable, which you can buy in any electronics shop, the...

Re: Pany 7-14 on OM-D

Same here, I refrained from buying after having tested it.

It is not up to my standard. For my use (panorama photography) I think it is even worse than the Samyang 7.5 FE

You were there too yesterday morning, Ian?

There is one golden rule: when you see me taking a panorama, be sure your are prominent in my view.
I need six shots around, so when you're fast enough,...

Re: ISS pass from last night

You can make panorama with any lens you like, but the longer the focal length of the lens, the more pictures you'll need to cover the whole 360x180 (and more pictures=more complications)
For that...

Thanks Tord.

Are there any specific points you want me to elaborate upon?

More specific: is your question related to the panorama technique or to the ISS capture?

Re: ISS pass from last night

Cube face settings should be (as a rule of thumb) as follows:
Image Quality 80%
Face size: imagewidth/Pi (in pixels)

So if you are presenting a panofile with a width of 10000 pixels, you can use...

Re: Apple iPad 2 -vs - Galaxy Tab 2 Android 4.0

Adobe had abandoned all Flash support for mobile devices, including Android. So in a while there will be no difference here.

Re: ISS pass from last night

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding.

You can feed Pano2VR with a pano (virtually) as large as you like. It are the settings in Pano2Vr that matter.

Is your output Flash or HTML5?
What are the...

Do you get the same behavior with my other pano (http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22282)?
