Re: Sneak peek at the Mk III

Why no "selfie" mode... Face detection will surely allow the user to automagically enhance the puckered lips/pout that is absolutely essential in a selfie

Re: Epub of Mastering the Olympus Om-d E-M5 Mark II

Have you tried RockyNook? It states their ebooks are epub.

I had a free voucher from the camera show and downloaded a book, although I have yet to get my ebook onto my ereader (I must be missing...

Re: New lens advice

I never thought about changing glass in the humidity. No kids, no theme parks, this is more like a nature and river/sea holiday. Im hoping to see lots of lightning over the 2 weeks, so the point...

Re: New lens advice

I think i used to have a plastic mount on my nikon kit lens and i always felt wary of changing the lens... I'm off to town today and I'll see if jessops have one to look at.

Re: New lens advice

I have seen the 40 140 on amazon for 150 so it seems a very cheap lens, which both pleases and worries me. I don't think I have ever paid so little for a lens, so is it a good quality bit of kit. Or...

Re: Lens options (aka, help me spend my money)

Thanks Ian

Are "super-zooms" good/high image quality? The reason I ask is because that zoom range is about the size I had for my Nikon, but when I bought the first of the high quality shorter...

Re: Lens options (aka, help me spend my money)

I dont use primes (I guess I am lazy) but my Nikon lenses are all constant f2.8 so they are fast enough lenses :)
I am toying with the idea of a prime lens when I retire and have...

Re: Lens options (aka, help me spend my money)

I dont really specialise in any kind of photography.

I travel somewhere and document things I like... sometimes its landscapes, sometimes gardens and architecture, with the occasional airshow...

Lens options (aka, help me spend my money)

Hi All

Looking for a bit of advice. I recently bought a OM-D E-M10 Mark II with the pancake 14-42.

I am looking to expand my lenses, but being new to m4/3rds I really don't know anything about...

Hi All

Its been a few years since I came here. I sold all my 4/3 gear a few years ago. I bought a Nikon and although I love it, it is very heavy, but now I have bought myself a new Olympus OM-D...

Oh maybe this explains their lack of stock back in April when I was looking for some binoculars for my hubbys birthday. Sad to see them go under as they were the only store around Nottingham that...

Re: Photo Book Advice Please

For my cousins wedding photos I used Photobox. Lovely quality, but a little expensive. Very easy to use and set up exactly how you wanted the book to look, a nice choice of paper / backgrounds too.

Re: Camera you focus later

This is a double edged sword IMHO... Yes it will be great if you go on a holiday of a lifetime and find your photos are not focussed properly, but the other side of that sword is that it could end up...
