I had quite a lot of trouble with my E-M1 Mk.i so was very pleased to receive a 3-year extension as part of the deal when I bought my Mk.ii.

I sincerely hope that the Mk.ii incorporates lessons...

Re: WARNING: E-M1 Camera body eyelet has come away from camera body!

It happened to me a few years ago. I taped over the holes and then connected both ends of the strap to the remaining strap lug with a split ring (I was in New Zealand at the time)

I expect the...

That's not good news. If you think it is because something was left behind after all your removal efforts, I suggest you try using the Kaspersky Rescue Disk - but make sure you download it directly...

Re: Shortage of Prime Utlra Wides

I take lots of hand-held panoramas, especially during family holidays. Just try to keep the camera in the same place while rotating gently in your hand. Leave a fairly generous overlap between...

Re: The Compliant Admiral

Extraordinary shots! I'm not usually keen on flash shots of butterflies but the way the light has caught the blue scales is remarkable. How about having a go at stacking?

Re: Firmware 3.1 out

You should get some SD-card recovery software - it's saved me a few times. Providing you haven't over-written the files, you should be able to recover the images because it's only the index that is...

Re: LCE em1x

Like many others, it was the small size and low weight of the Olympus cameras that initially attracted me to the brand but, being an enthusiast for natural history photography, I soon found that the...

Re: OMD + 12-100 an overpriced bridge camera?

The last 'bridge' camera I used was a Lumix FZ200 and I realise that more recent models have larger sensors but are bigger and heavier.

My main problem was that, although it was very convenient...

Re: Memory Card OM-D E-M1 Mark II suggestions

That describes me :)

In fact, I'd just bought some 32GB cards at 13, when the 64GB price dropped but I find 32GB is usually sufficient and I transfer my photos to a computer or memory sticks as...

Re: v3 Firmware for mk2 - updates for mk2, m1x and lenses

Think you're mixing k's and M's there! The maximum memory configuration for a PET was, as I recall, 96kB.
