Just a reminder: My post #2 has a link to an effective procedure for removing fungus.

Ordinary lens glass doesn't transmit UV light much - at least, not in the effective wavelengths. IIRC there...

It's more involved than that. Check my previous post for the link to a Leica formulation that includes ammonia.

Fungi need humidity. I store my lenses in an airtight 'B&W' ('Peli' type) case with about 400 grams of activated silica gel. The silica gel has an indicator and as soon as it starts to 'turn' I...
