Re: What settings does jpeg apply?

When I've got a minute (unfortunately not right now), I will certainly read, and try to digest, the article on your web site. No doubt I will have another question after I've read it! :) Many thanks...

Re: What settings does jpeg apply?

Re: What settings does jpeg apply?

Thanks for that Ross. I am familiar with SCP - I had forgotten that it was called that! And no, I don't use iAuto (I use aperture priority).

Re: What settings does jpeg apply?

What settings does jpeg apply?

I know that shooting jpeg will automatically apply certain settings. How can I fins out what those settings are? I assume it's deep in the menu somewhere? Thanks for your help.

Re: Can't import using Olympus OI Share

No, I haven't - I didn't think it was necessary. I thought the import images command was all that was needed.

Re: Can't import using Olympus OI Share

I tried that Ross, but with the same result. I even tried after having taken out card No 1, but it still says the same thing - 'No Images'.

Re: Can't import using Olympus OI Share

Both - RAW on slot 1, jpeg on slot 2. Shouldn't it pick the jpegs on slot 2 - or is there a way of telling it to?

I've been experimenting with Olympus OI Share and, while I can use the remote control...

Re: Firmware Update

Oh dear. Originally this worked, but only with one point - neither of the wheels made any difference. So I went into the menu and selected nine point. Then the point went back to the original...

Re: Firmware Update

How exactly do you select the new smaller focus point - or is it done by default (ie automatically)?

Instead of leaning backwards, why didn't you use the articulated screen?

Re: Remote shutter release.

After reading all these posts, I just can't understand why people don't use the Olympus app as a remote control from a smart phone - and it's free!
