I only use hand held so cant say about IBIS and monopds,if you want to use it at 300mm you wil need to keep the ISO down it seems to help with apparent sharpness.

Thanks, i think the 100-300 will have quicker focus but i needed an Olympus lens to be able to use pro-capture low

Just bought the 75-300
Its back on cashback and i got a further reduction due to a torn flap on the box lid, not the sharpest or quickest to focus but at £255 after cashback i will find a use for it.
