Re: UHS-II SD cards on the E-M10ii?

Amazon have Lexar 150MB/s 32GB cards for 24.
That’s 10 more than a 14 Sandisk 95MB/s card - not a massive amount.
I’m not looking at the 300MB/s cards due to cost.

I can see advantages of...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

They gave up when they couldn't get them to rust properly.

Re: Flickr changes - the end of the free 1TB

It was missing in the iOS app yesterday too so I dropped them a line.
To be fair they replied quite quickly.

It’s back in the app this morning so hopefully just a minor glitch ;)

Re: Flickr changes - the end of the free 1TB

Sometimes it's interesting to see what equipment and settings were used.
Looking at the seal pictures recently posted it was interesting to see what could be achieved with the 40-150 PRO +TC and...

Re: Flickr changes - the end of the free 1TB

Yesterday it was all fine - camera, lens, settings.
Today it just shows the camera.
Weird.

I have a PRO account so it can't be that?

Rather than start a new thread here are the pictures I took on December 15th, 2018 taking my brother along to see the new pups.

Re: Flatiron Building in NYC - evolution

They're all interesting in their own way. I think the 2nd is a good shot that really shows off the building.
The 3rd with the very wide angle has done something quite strange to the perspective....

Re: Upton Staithe, Norfolk, 4th December 2018

Thanks, I processed this and then realised I also took a 3 bracket version so I guess I should revisit that in Lightroom :)

Thanks, again I'll have a look at that suggestion.

Re: Upton Staithe, Norfolk, 4th December 2018

The marsh is extensive and there is lots of wildlife though I'm no expert at finding it or photographing it.
There is a long concrete farm track from the village that will take you into the marsh,...

If you've never dabbled in Macro you could try extension tubes with your existing lenses.

Re: Panasonic 25mm f1.7 for m43

The 1.4 is supposed to be lovely but the 1.7 is so much cheaper - I love mine though don't use it as much as perhaps I should.

Ask yourself the question "what is the picture of?"
For me the image is of the cityscape on the far shore.

In the top version you have a lot of grey sea.
In the bottom you have less sea but...
