Re: Beach photo's (my version)

I like those a lot. The first is very surreal with the wheels.

Re: Panasonic to announce their first Full Frame Camera

I agree with you 100% Paul. I just hope that m43rds continues to evolve as I have no real desire to go Full Frame.

Re: Adobe Upcoming Changes to Creative Cloud OS Support

I said bye-bye to Adobe at home a while back and bought Affinity Photo, although I have Photoshop CC on my office PC if I need it (at no cost to me :D). The best of both worlds :D:D

Re: Adapter for OM lenses on OM-D camera

I just got a cheap one on eBay. Does what I want for the odd times that I use my old OM lenses.

Re: The olympus guide to photographing mother nature’s wild side

Thanks for the link. Might have been useful to read prior to our South Africa safari last month.

Re: Nikon Mirrorless

Makes the EM1 Mk2 a bargain! Clearly mirrorless is now he future given this important release from Nikon. It was never really in doubt.

Re: My first proper Pro-Capture play

Absolutely! But as Pro Capture has kindled my interest in BIF photography (which I never had before), this is why I mentioned the 'holy trinity' in relation to this innovative way of capturing action.

Re: My first proper Pro-Capture play

I did some Pro Capture when we were on safari a few weeks back using my 40-150 Pro plus MC14. The biggest problem that I found was balancing the 'holy trinity' of shutter speed, aperture and ISO to...

Re: Using video with the OMD EM1 mk2

I put all my video clips (from my Pen F and EM1.2) from our recent safari trip on a memory stick to play on our TV. They are all jerky so I guess that idea is out.

Re: Scenes from Bergen/Bryggen

I have been to Bergen twice as stops on cruises to the fjords. Interesting place but it rained both times. The view from the top of the funicular is nice.

Re: AWB....be aware.

It's the only way to go for complete control. Mind you, I still set WB even shooting RAW. Habit I guess, plus I often supplement to RAW file with a small JPEG.

Re: Thom Hogan slams Olympus M 4/3

He seems to equate success with numbers (the higher the better) when it should be results.
At least he acknowledges that mirrorless is the future, which we have believed all along.

Re: Pen-F, near mint

Don't do it . The Pen F is a thing of beauty................as long as you don't add the grip (just sell that on its own!). I have a third party grip but I only use it for the larger m43rds...

Re: Black country museum

It sure is a great place. My camera club went on its annual summer trip there 3/4 years back. We are going to Blist Hill Victorian Town in early August this year.

Re: M.Zuiko 25mm F1.8 Black ... New, not removed from box

It is a great price and I want to get one for my Pen F to complement my 17mm, 45mm and 60mm (I had one years ago but sold it ). Unfortunately funds aren't available at the moment since I got the...

Re: Thinking of selling my 300 f4

I can vouch for the IQ of the 300mm f4 even with the MC14 added. I would dearly love to have it in my arsenal but realistically, I wouldn't get very much use out of it (and my wife would stop me :o)....

Re: BLH-1 Aftermarket battery funnies.

I agree although I have been a user of third party batteries in the past. I was going to get some ExPros for my new EM1.2 due to the cost differential. When I saw someone selling up his Oly gear I...
