Re: Frequent Flyers

Unless the drive can be mirrored, you are probably going to have to reinstall all the programs.

Re: Frequent Flyers

Mark,

A hard drive crash is a total PITA. I hope that you have your photos backed up somewhere so that you can retrieve them when you get a new hard drive for your laptop.

The hard drive on my...

Re: Last Roses of Autumn

Mark,

I am surprised to say it, but I prefer the shot from the 14-150 to the 12-40. Being zoomed in a bit further gives it a nicer "feel".

Re: Bigma 50-500

Great shots! That lens is a bit of a challenge to use, isn't it?

Re: Replacement for my FT 12-60 SWD

Ross and I have both experienced the aperture problem with the 12-60mm SWD. I would be interested to hear if anybody else has. But from looking at various other Olympus groups on the net, I get the...

Re: Replacement for my FT 12-60 SWD

When my old 12-60 SWD developed the same aperture fault, I also looked at alternatives, but they were either too pricey or not of a decent enough standard. So I bit the bullet and had the lens...

Hi Mark,

As we were discussing earlier, I tend to upload my photos to Flickr before posting.

Here is one taken during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers:

Re: Geotagging with Oi.Share now with Oi.Track...

I don't think that it has much, if anything, to do with time zones and GMT in particular. I am 8 hours ahead of GMT and it works fine for me. Having said that, it is a very "clunky" bit of software...

Re: An Interesting Comparison

Much like mine. - Although it is difficult to tell the difference between the "sharpness" in the 12-40mm and the 12-100mm. The 12-40mm "lives" on my E-M1 (Mk I), which has now been relegated to the...

Re: An Interesting Comparison

If you rely on your smartphone alone, you'll probably be sorely disappointed. Take a look at a 14-150mm II for Tina's E-M5 II. - You can borrow mine if you like as it is getting very little use...

Re: E-M1 FW 4.4 update.

I must admit that I have had much the same (great) experiences with the 12-100 that Steve has had. In fact, it now "lives" on my E-M1 Mk II. The 12-40? - That now "lives" on my E-M1 (Mk I), which...
