Anyway you could hire one for the trip Mark?
Actually I'm in the MJ camp myself, over a year in and still learning. I seem to learn something new and then forget something else these days. It does...

Re: Worth digging out your old glass?

Thanks Henry it has a roof too! I added the roof to make it easy for the smaller birds and to deter the pigeons but pigeons are more resourceful than I'd expected and they fly onto the adjacent tree...

Re: Worth digging out your old glass?

I've not compared things directly Ross but I was pleasantly surprised at the IQ considering the lenses are really cheap these days, bokeh was nice too. The AF though is another story even on the EM1...

Worth digging out your old glass?

Having spent a couple of recent wet afternoons making a bird table from bits of wood in the garage I was a bit disappointed that after a few days the birds don't seem to appreciate my handiwork. This...

Re: Duxford - Friends of Duxford Photo evening

Nice shots. You are definitely very lucky to live so close to such a superb facility. I really enjoyed my Olympus experience day at Duxford. Look forward to seeing some more.

Re: Four-thirds user forum

Interesting comments, I never registered for FTU as I didn't see much point as this forum seems to cover most things for me. I suppose there is more Panasonic related stuff on FTU that wouldn't get...

Re: On a secret mission

Are you anywhere near Lytchett Matravers? I camped there in my youth when we were helping support the Dorset Steam Rally. There was a great pub near there called The Worlds End I think, wonder if...

Re: Can't import using Olympus OI Share

Definitely interested in your outcome Roy, hope you get it working. I haven't tried it myself except for when I first got my old Mk1 a few years ago and I couldn't get it to work either. To be honest...

Re: Olympus 40-150mm f2.8 Pro Lens

Maccas I agree with Rob this is a great lens and you've priced it well. As you only have two posts on here though, both for sales, maybe it would be worth giving members a bit more background to...
