Having a good laugh together!

That's what it was as we were leaving Elysian Rock Lookout (taken outside Leuralla Amphitheatre (https://leuraweddings.com.au/) Leura, Blue Mountains, NSW) when these two kookaburras were laughing...

Re: Dpof

I might be wrong but I think it is for connecting & printing from a direct connection to a printer from the camera. The camera then initiates the print command (I think).
Make a selection from the...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

Contrary to your feelings, I would love it, although it would be overkill for my needs. Not only would it (should or claimed to) be good for sports & wildlife etc., but it would be great for events &...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

That's AU$4,655.90 for me (which hopefully doesn't directly translate & comes in under AU$4,500). My supervising accountant says that's about $4,655.90 over budget for me. :(

Re: Guess the iso.

I would also say 6400 as that is the default Auto ISO upper setting in the E-M1 Mk II, something I don't mind using most of the time (that is, using Auto ISO).

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

Nicely said, however in my case, personally speaking, I will not be buying one as I am quite happy with my existing equipment and my wife told me I have no plans to spend any more money on...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

When I'm shooting with two zoom lenses (12-40 & 40-150) I prefer to have two bodies. The E-M1 Mk II would compliment it fairly nicely with a grip or no grip (portrait) option, although the new E-M1X...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

There will be those that will love the more accessible buttons & the joysticks (on both grips), something new on Olympus cameras, as well being able to charge the batteries in the car from USB. It is...

Re: Craig's Hut

Great set of photos of the hut Larry.

There are other high country huts that cross country skiers may use, but Iím assuming this is not one of them then?

Probably a good move. We were at 36 degrees today before the storm & rain came. The rain is tumbling down right now too.

From total over-exposure to 'Art'?

That most annoying feeling when the camera was not set at the usual setting for a crucial moment!

My camera was set for last night's night exposure with LED light & this bird was there (juvenile...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

It's already been confirmed to be using the same batteries as the E-M1 Mk II, two of them & they can also be charged 'in camera' too.

EDIT: The following shows 1 & 2 Charge lights (for both...
