My other half has moved to Android in the shape of a OnePlus 3T, so her space grey iPhone 6 Plus 64Gb is for sale.

I've inspected this thoroughly and can't find a single mark or ding on it...

Re: Remote (cable) shutter release

They can't really justify them, but as long as people pay their asking price they'll happily keep charging it!

I don't think I've ever bought a genuine Olympus anything (apart from body & lenses)...

Re: New a new laptop

Surface Pro 4? That's what I'd have with 1500 to spend, especially if you have a decent monitor you can plug it into when you're at home......

Re: Tempted by the Olympus 12-100mm

Re: Esme

I agree, but it's very difficult to judge properly on the small camera screen, and even harder again through the ultra-contrasty EVF..... was just covering my bases. :)

Esme

Bought a 20 brollybox from Amazon, so couldn't resist getting a few shots with the Granddaughter today - really like the light from it, especially with a reflector at the opposite side, but still...

Re: 52mm UV filter

Is it worth the bother, you'd get them on eBay/Amazon starting from around 3 upwards!

Re: Alternative take on the Flatiron Building

I like it a lot. Obviously a great city to get the camera out when you're there..... you do wonder how that building doesn't fall over in a decent wind!

Re: Nissin Di466 Wireless Trigger help

If you use the on camera flash as commander for off camera TTL flash you can make the output from it non existent..... if you use it to trigger off camera flash as optical slave you'll need...

Re: Nissin Di466 Wireless Trigger help

Just noticed your question. Yes, no reason why it shouldn't work with the trigger, but using the little M5 flash would give you direct control of the output from the camera.... if you use the...

Re: Nissin Di466 Wireless Trigger help

TTL definitely works with the M5 if you use a dedicated TTL flash... the Meike MK-300 can be bought new for around 45 and is TTL.

If you want to use it off camera you can trigger and control it...

Re: Nissin Di466 Wireless Trigger help

Was the Nissin specified as Nikon fit when you bought it, as it probably won't fire on the olympus hotshoe if so, but aren't the triggers a universal fit using only the centre pin for firing the...

Tried taking the trigger off the camera and using the test button to try firing the flash? I'm trying to remember if the small E-M5 flash is a hotshoe connection? (Sure it is). You could also try...
