Re: Oly LH-48B hood for 17mm f1.8
I bought the JJC clone for about a tenner. Same fitment. Would rather a more secure fitting but not complaining at the price I paid. The 17mm f1.8 is a lovely lens and reminds me in many ways of the...

Re: DIY Kruger safari pix 1
Lovely shots. Took me back to our visit last July. Didn't see any tortoises though, apart from in captivity. Did see leopards and cheetahs though - amazing!
If it wasn't so much faff to get images...

Re: Old 300mm Lens
I had one of these when I had my E3 but sold it. Have fancied another for my EM1.2, but I might be disappointed with the results. I am sure that my 75-300 is likely to be better at the long end.

Re: DIY Kruger safari - admin
My wife and I and two friends let someone else organise it (Titan Holidays) when we did four areas last July (Entabeni, Limpopo, Karongwe, and Kruger).
Probably more expensive, but less hassle. It...

Re: Pen-F and just one lens.
The Pen F is often bundled with the 17mm f1.8 prime. There is a reason for this.......(think street). That's how I got mine.

Re: Olympus 1.4 mc 14
Whenever an item of camera gear I have dies, I always keep as many of the tiny screws as I can recover. Goodness knows why but I have been doing this for years and have loads of them.

Re: Adobe LR - no more updates - options?
I really like Affinity Photo but it is no LR. I did hear a while back that at some stage it would be upgraded to have LR-type attributes........but no sign yet. I would pay extra for this.
BTW,...

Re: Oly 12-200 f3.5-6.3
I know what you mean, we have been spoilt. I think that the 12-100 would be a better bet and around the same price to. Maybe going from 12 to 200mm is pushing it a bit.

Re: Oly 12-200 f3.5-6.3
I hope that it is available at The Photography Show in March, at least to look at and play with, if not to buy.
This looks like a unique lens. Well done Oly!

Re: Always liked the look of the Pen-F but.....
I love my Pen F too. Didn't buy it for the CAF performance, bought it for the 20MP sensor, which my EM1.1 didn't have. It is also extremely cool :D:D But I have the 1.2 now so 20MP sensors :D:D:D

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?
I hope that it is a lot better than the EC20. And retaining the IQ of the 40-150 and 300 Pros as well as the MC14 does.
