Re: Geared Steam Locomotives

[QUOTE=Naughty Nigel;472067]I had heard of them but have never seen one. I don't think they were ever used on main lines in the UK; more in quarries, coal mines and suchlike, and I suspect the gears...

That's more than enough for your "only issue". My sincere sympathy.

As for drugs, lithium is the only one I had heard of.

Arcyria at x2.5 on A7R Full Frame

Not Oly hardware but it shows the increased depth, over m4/3, on FF. I hope Olympus will see the error of constant fiddling with m4/3 and get out a FF body. It would give greater depth at high...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

My experience of a 25mm tube and a x2TC in the 4/3 system is they fit physically but, whereas you can have one or the other on a lens and still have full electronic function, can't have both in...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

What would a second referendum achieve, apart from to trash the first one? We would no more know what the circumstances of our leaving would be than we did the first time. That is because we could...

In the decade or so before EU membership, of my colleagues in the...

Re: First Macro with A7R & Triple Nissin Air 1 Flash

Just check:

On your 36R, use the mode button to select RC, displayed as C I C, plus any compensation value (select with large dial).
