Not sure what is happening.

Make sure you click on the little target in the saturation tool ( see arrow in pic below)

Then simply click hold and drag down on the brightest part of the flare...

Most car clocks now should be synchronised with RDS data, but as our daughter has found, this only works if you tune in to main BBC radio stations once in a while. ;)

Tough call. It depends a bit on what kind of vegetation and flowers they will be hovering around... trade-off between maximizing the detail and risk of clipping the subject when shooting...

The higher the ISO the shorter the exposure needed to capture the same amount of signal, but there is a noise trade-off.

Many people shoot astro shots at ISO800 or ISO1600 beyond that the noise...
