VF3 Viewfinder

Hi

Does anyone on here use the VF3 viewfinder as I'd be interested in their experience & opinion. Last week I bought a Olympus XZ-1 and the VF3. I bought online so I didn't get to try the VF3...

Re: Olympus

I think there is lots to be disappointed about, not least of which is an uncertain future for normal 4/3'rd. Yes, Olympus released the E5 but it's pretty clear from it's statements where it sees the...

Re: Olympus

I too am disappointed with the new lens: I've been wondering for a while if I want to move over to micro 4/3rd or even get a micro 4/3rd camera to augment my E30 setup. However, I wouldn't consider...

Re: Sensor Sizes and Diffraction

Oh well, a bit of wishful thinking doesn't hurt! Even if the lenses were something like f2-3.5/4 and a reasonable size then I'd could still be interested. Interestingly though, the Panasonic 7-14mm...

Re: Sensor Sizes and Diffraction

If you read this interview with Panasonic, on page 3 they refer to the planned 12-35 and 35-100 for release some time next year. They don't say f2, but that's what the 4/3 rumour site has speculated...

Sensor Sizes and Diffraction

Hi

Has anyone here got a Panasonic G3? I'm asking because I see that Panasonic have released the GX1 today and that, I believe, has the same 16 mega-pixel sensor as the G3. I very much like the...

Re: One third-off for a week at Jessops' new store

I went to see the new store at Westfields yesterday. It is very helpful having all the camera on display so you can just walk in, pick up a camera and see if you like it etc. A big plus for...

Re: E-30 AF Focus Adj

The problems a second hand Sigma 30 mm I've just bought off ebay. It's a bit variable at f1.4-2. Sometimes OK, actually very good, but other times it misses what I want it to focus on. I've spent...
