It's been rather wet unfortunately, so haven't managed to take as many test shots as I would like (some samples at the bottom!).

The lens arrived and looks to be in fine condition, I can't see any...

I ordered it earlier this evening. It's been on my watch list for a while, I've been a bit hesitant to order it due to the low price and lack of lens hood/sticky zoom. I'll let you know guys know...

Thanks, I shall keep an eye out for them. And never too late for you to get a 75-150mm, they're dirt cheap these days.

Ahh, I never associated the vibration with the image stabilisation before. I had got muddled up as well, it was always when turning off the camera not when turning it on. Thanks for the explanation.
