Is it in a lift? I keep wondering if I’d crop the white section at the top off, but I think overall it’s better left in.
The expression is wonderful, and asks a lot of questions....

Re: Puddle Jumper

True, but there were plenty of other shots where he shot lots of alternatives before choosing the one winner - eg Magnum ‘Contact Sheets’ which I expect you’ve seen.

Don McCullin - Exhibition at London’s Tate Britain

Have a look, read and see the video (https://www.canon-europe.com/pro/stories/don-mccullin-kolkata-film/). It really is what he says.

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

Surely VAT is charged at source by the seller. Hence if you buy a product in Eire, the collected VAT goes to the Irish Government, similarly VAT north of the border goes to HMRC.

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

I'll say squarely up-front that I'm not much into photography these days, (or contribute to this forum much either), and only occasionally use my MFT camera (not Olympus any more), so I'm not in the...

To a point, I'd agree, but the quality I can get from the Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro is seriously impressive. I'd say it requires more post-processing and of course a 'real' system camera handles...

Re: How to Post Photos?

I do the same as Ron. The Gallery does have a file size limit of 512Kb but there does not seem to be a restriction on its dimensions that I have encountered.

Re: The inner sanctum

Nicely spotted Steve. Not only is it not monochrome, but it's sharp and hasn't got huge amounts of grain! Progress ;)
