Like you, I like the strands of spiderweb however, I wasn't so pleased when, what I presumed to be, the manufacturer showed up as it was a False Widow and seemed a little agitated.

I don't have the 45mm prime. Its the 40-150mm f2.8 pro zoom slightly zoomed in. I think its one of the sharpest lenses I have and f8 seems to be its sweet spot. I am using it more often these days.
