Re: Olympus 12-100 F4 New, unused, UK warranty stamped.

Why not keep both the 12-40 and 12-100?
I did and use them both depending on my needs. The 12-100 makes the 12-40 feel positively compact and f/2.8 can be useful some times :)
Both great lenses,...

Re: Concrete Plans Update

Without doubt it's a very impressive project and all by one dedicated individual.

Hats off to your neighbour....

Re: Broken Leica DG 8-18mm

The evidence suggests they don't have the infrastructure in place to repair their lenses, for me that's too risky a proposition to invest anything significant with Panasonic.
You are on your own if...

Re: Broken Leica DG 8-18mm

That sounds like a typical whitewash riposte, a slight edit to a standard response.

Re: Canard-ly Believe it

How handy being that close to an airfield *yes
I'm envious :D
That odd conventional looking monoplane (1 - 3 in the second series) looks like a crop sprayer platform.

Re: Broken Leica DG 8-18mm

Obviously a different lens (more flexible) but I was seriously considering the 100-400 as an alternative to my now purchased 300 f/4, I'm glad I didn't go that way now.
Having said that either the...
