Re: Blowing your own trumpet

#2 still. There is a certain ebullience in it whereas #1 seems to be lacking some soul.

Re: Wide Angle Flash - Metz 26 af-2 ?

Thanks Derek; its a good idea but the little FL-LM2 does not go vertical (it only flips up by a small amount which turns it on) and would not have the power.... but the flash bulb bit at the front of...

Re: How to snap a Mongoose at night without a flash?

Could you run a mains cable from a plug in dimmer to a tungsten bulb near to where they will be? That way you could build up some illumination without startling them. Or maybe put a battery operated...

Re: Honestly, do you like autofocus?

I switched from film (OM4Ti) to mirrorless (OM-D E-M5) because I wanted autofocus. Most of my film shots are a gnats breath off absolute focus if you look closely and I often missed the best...

Re: Buttons..What do you do with them?

The OM4Ti has a few buttons. In fact it has 3 function buttons on the top plate (not including the shutter button) for highlight, shadow, and spot metering; a function clear switch, a film advance...

Re: Question: Do we do it for the dopamine addiction?

A slur on grumpy old gits. None of them on this forum would post such an article. Chasing "Likes" is like chasing the end of the raindow and doesn't do you any good. BTW, what's social media?

Wide Angle Flash - Metz 26 af-2 ?

I tend to travel as light as I can and made the mistake the other day of using the little FL-LM2 flash with my 7-14mm PRO. The results not unsurprsingly showed a severe shadow in the lower centre...

Re: Forum enhancements?

I don't believe that this forum stores posts in a "threaded" manner enabling you to ascertain if there has been a reply to a specific post (yours or somebody elses).

However you can look at all...

Re: New MC 20 announced.

For the wee birds in the garden I need all the magnification I can get so the MC14 stays on the 40-150mm PRO all the time and I can see it being replaced by the MC20 (I have even thought about going...
