Re: Photoshop Ai enhanced RAW

I've tried it on a number of images - 16 and 20 Mp m43 imagess and also from a few other cameras like the Fuji xe1 and Sony A7rii and have failed to see any difference at all.

Re: Lazy camera store

Re: Olympus 60mm f2.8 macro v Panasonic 35-100 f2.8

I shouldn't worry. It's a very good macro lens and ifyou don't like it they are usually easy to sell second hand.

Re: E-M1X thoughts and excellent Dave Etchells video

It's at least four years ago that I heard the rumours of organic sensors. I'm wondering if they'll make it into a camera before I'm in a wooden box!

Really, the only thing stopping a BSI m43...

Re: Heads up...for info.

There is a technique called Krack (Key Reinstallation AttaCk) which means that WPA is vulnerable to attack. It's quite well documented here:

In principle it means...

Hand held hi res - It's fabulous !

I took a few shots today at LCE in Leamington with the E-M1x. I was keen to try out the new hand held hi-res (HHHR). It really does work. I took a few shots inside the shop where the lighting was...

My latest foray into FF mirrorless - and why I'm sticking with m43

This is a copy of a piece I posted over mu43 but I'm not sure how many of you go there so I thought I post it here too in case my ramblings are of interest.

To cut a long story short, I've been...

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

You can do almost the same with Photoshop. Take 16 shots in camera (easy with E-M1ii eshutter at 60 fps with frame limiter). Bring them all into PS as layers and re-size them all to 200% in size....

Re: New Olympus OMD - EM1X ?

That's a great post OM_User! I'm sure it's harder than it looks to us armchair experts to orchestrate a camera launch, so perhaps we should cut Olympus some slack. But, as the days roll on and...

Re: FF or DX as second camera, which would you choose?

I mentioned over on Welsh Dave's other post about Park Cameras that I've found a banding problem when pushing Z6 files. Rather than post the example on that thread, I'd thought I'd do it here since...
