Re: Horsey Grey Seals, Norfolk, UK

Rather than start a new thread here are the pictures I took on December 15th, 2018 taking my brother along to see the new pups.

Re: Flatiron Building in NYC - evolution

They're all interesting in their own way. I think the 2nd is a good shot that really shows off the building.
The 3rd with the very wide angle has done something quite strange to the perspective....

Re: Upton Staithe, Norfolk, 4th December 2018

The marsh is extensive and there is lots of wildlife though I'm no expert at finding it or photographing it.
There is a long concrete farm track from the village that will take you into the marsh,...

OK I don't think we've been further than the second viewing area just past the Friends' shipping container and the track to The Nelson.
The day we went was bitter and very windy so we didn't...

Re: Lens recommendation

If you've never dabbled in Macro you could try extension tubes with your existing lenses.

I bought some FOTGA tubes for a few quid and had a try. They have electrical contacts so allow aperture...

For me the image is of the cityscape on the far shore.

In the top version you have a lot of grey sea.
In the bottom you have less sea but...

Great picture!
Lots of character in the face, sharp and good isolation from the background.
I would try dropping the blacks - in lightroom - or using the tone curve to increase the contrast...
