Re: Zuiko 300mm PRO glitch

I frequently have a similar problem to yours Mark. I see a bird and place the AF target over it but when I half press the shutter button all I see in the view finder is a smudge instead of the bird....

Re: Zuiko 300mm PRO glitch

Re: May 2019 Photo Challenge: Rule of Thirds

The picture has righty been added to the showcase - it's well worth looking through that if you have not already done so.

It never ceases to impress me how good the pictures on this forum are and...

Re: If you go down to the woods today....

You have been a busy birder, Mark. All good takes, especially #1. I like the low key grad and the way you focused through the leaves.

Re: Communal flowers, trees, plants and fungi thread

Welcome to the club. Beware of viewing a single frame after several stereo pairs!

It's more of an angle thing than distance. That makes it work, irrespective of magnification or distance. As I do...

Nice ones. We have had, infrequently, both in our garden but they never stay long enough to get a good snap.

Re: Panny 12-32mm, bargain at Bristol Cameras.

The 12-32 is the better lens too (and it goes to 12mm which is definitely a big deal in my eyes :)).

Re: Panny 12-32mm, bargain at Bristol Cameras.

If you find IS useful, it's worth getting the Panny lens for the GX800 as the body has no IS, whereas the lens does. The 14-42 Oly lens doesn't have IS so you'd be back in the good old days before IS...
