I find that viewing the subject is distracting. To achieve the desired 'zen state' I either don't switch on the camera or leave the lens cap on! ;)

I've used mine with my 50mm F2 macro, 12-60, 50-200 and 35-100 f2. Offhand, I can't remember what lenses it can't be used with!
