1.414 of course being the square root of 2 and as the square root of 2 multiplied by the square root of 2 is 2, then multiplying twice by the square root of 2 is the same as multiplying by 2.

I have read somewhere that it is perfectly save to use the T32 and T20 on all Olympus digital cameras and I do so myself (E-M5). I do tend to use the flash on manual and chimp a lot; for dark caverns...
