Re: Charger flashing amber. Normal?

They do seem to charge pretty quickly compared to the other ones i've had before. Technology is obviously improving.

Re: Tamron 14-150mm f3.5-5.8 Di III Micro Four Thirds

That's very odd. Maybe my phone is playing up. Just sent you a second from my tablet.
Cheers.

Re: A few more friends from Longleat

Thanks for your kind words everyone. Here are a few more of the locals.

Probably a more typical Longleat shot!

Re: Tamron 14-150mm f3.5-5.8 Di III Micro Four Thirds

I agree with Tim it's a great little lens at a great price. I'll see if my son wants one for his girlfriend. She's got the 14-42 and 40-150 but this would be a much more convenient replacement for...

Re: Pop-up tent as portable hide

Looks like a pretty good idea to me, especially if it would get me images like yours Tord ;). I've tried putting one away though.

Re: A few more friends from Longleat

I didn't realise they were so endangered Jon, indeed very sad. I think that's one of the reasons for bringing the group over to Longleat. They are hoping to bread them. There were 5 but one died. The...

Re: Gmail Tracks Your Purchase History

Hmmm not sure I'm over happy with that, although I've not bought much apparently.
This should be made more obvious and definitely easier to turn off.

Re: Mass emergence of rare butterflies.

Absolutely wonderful shots Peter, first class. I can feel your excitement just looking at them :).
I suspect it was your trusty 40-150 +tc but if that was with a 12-200 it's a cracking lens.

Re: Astro photo Lens decision.

I'm with Mark, although leaving the 7-14 behind does seem a bit odd. Maybe the Lowa can cover all your wide angle needs I've not tried one to know how good it is. If the three Oly lenses plus the...

Re: Messing around with the E-520

Lovely shots Jon. The E520 makes a great combination with the Lumix 14-150 too. My daughter used to use them together quite a lot.

Re: Butterflies with 12-200 and 40-150 (+1.4 tc) lenses

This is a great thread Peter with some superb images, thanks for posting it. If I didn't already have the 12-100 lens and the 40-15+tc I'd definitely be considering the 12-200. You've shown it to be...
