Another way to do it is to set C-AF and back button focussing...

Pressing the button means you're C-AFing, releasing the button once its focussed makes it S-AF...

Simples - and it works really...

I use silent shutter most of the time, but switch to mechanical on occasion and have had no issues.

I upgraded because the MKi was limiting my photography, the MKii - I'm limiting it! ;)

Edit: If I remember correctly that's the "sweet spot" for depth of field and diffraction avoidance.

Given its shown at 250mm and there's no hint of an extension of the lens - it presumably is an internal zoom mechanism, then it's not "that" much longer than the Panny at 400 - its a fair...

To the lower RH side of the text box you will now see "My Pics" with a link "open"
