Thanks Mark, to be honest I can't remember the setting and it was only a week ago - can you believe that! I do know for certain it was not in a lift, but more likely in a cafe since I remember having...

Re: Puddle Jumper

Ah, ok, sort of got it?!
But the thing is, like HC-B, I was using film. And if you were to look at the contact sheet you would see that there is only one frame devoted to the puddle jumper.

Re: Puddle Jumper

Ok Mark, you've got me on this, what on earth is ProCap. Is it some sort of lens cap designed so that you can't take pictures of a lens cap you've inadvertently left on the lens when using a RF?

Re: Puddle Jumper

I'm glad you mentioned this; the number of times I've viewed the image and it's the first time I've consciously noticed the poster of the leaping dancer. He was the true MASTER of photography. Pure...

Re: Don McCullin - Exhibition at Londonís Tate Britain

Thanks for providing the link to the video, Antonio. I enjoyed watching him in action very much.

So an 83 year old man can handle 2 Canon 5D Mk IV cameras plus 'enormous' lenses in the heat and...

Re: Adobe LR - no more updates - options?

= approx 1 roll of HP5 and lab processing, that's 36 shots a month and you can use any old s/w going, complete with DAM. That's my average over 12 months, more in spring, summer and autumn, less in...

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

Tusk is not fit to hold office, any office. (That's a full stop, period.!)

I was behind the second vote, and I'm I'm still in favour of it. But, Tusk has really played his hand well. If a...

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

I've heard it said the Donald Tusk has a speech impediment, and if that's true he has my sympathy. But listening to him today I can see some truth in this.

As someone who thought it better to stay...

Re: Show us your first cameras

Indeed so. The digital camera is such a mature product now that manufacturers are finding it increasingly difficult to sell more of the same, with minor tweaks. I said this once before, I'd suggest...
