Re: Camera club speakers
I'm no longer a member of a club, but for a few years in the late 200x era I was a member of the St Neots Camera Club. There were some terrible speakers there, including one woman who had been...

Re: Official PEN-F....RIP.
I have one, but I agree. Olympus has a habit of over pricing cameras, especially the Pens. The EP5 was a fantastic camera for its time, but I think its disappointing sales were in part due to crazy...

Re: M1X..Harsh review, realistic perhaps?
I suspect part of this reviewer's criticisms stem from not really understanding how the CAF works and how to get the best from it. I only partly blame him on this since once again we have almost...

Re: Pen-F and just one lens.
The 25/1.8 is a nice lens, but it's got a very plastic feel to it. Just like the 45/1.8. It works, but it has little joy of ownership.

Re: Pen-F and just one lens.
Depends what you're planning to photograph really. 12-40 - balances fine and it's a fantastic piece of glass. If you're thinking primes and small, then the 17/1.8. Primes and big - the 25/1.2.

Re: E-M1 ii & 12-40 for £850
Dodgy not the word. Fraud is the better choice. Don't pay outside of PayPal unless you want to lose your money. I think you should report it to Paypal.

Ferry Cross the Mersey
I remember when this was something that you used to get to Birkenhead rather than a tourist trap!

A few grab-shots from Lancaster city centre. Got there late and had about a half-hour before the day finally disappeared...

Re: Long Tailed Tit
That's a cracker. The 100-400 is quite a lens really. I reckon that it's 95% of the sharpness of the 300 f4, but the zoom makes it a much more versatile option. It's a pity that Oly and Panasonic...
