Re: Weekend Wildlife

Luck
Usually they run off up the hill when they see you heading their way, but now and again they might sit tight and as long as you move slowly you can get pretty close. I only had the 300mm with...

Thanks Phil, I only just realised you can see my silhouette reflected in the eye of the grumpy looking second hare!

Weekend Wildlife

I was lucky enough to have two trips out this weekend, both to go in search of Scottish wildlife. On Saturday I headed for Strathdearn near Tomatin, just off the A9:

1....

Sleepy Moon

I somehow managed to accidentally capture this shot of the moon and two passing crows this morning.

Re: L-Bracket for the OM-D E-M1 MKII

The screen on the Mark 1 only tilts, it doesn't swing out like the Mark 2 so it is unlikely to be of any use.

I haven't seen one of these before and when it kindly posed on the other side of the river I managed a couple of shots before it flew off into the trees.

Re: Sun stars with the 8-18

Great shot Paul, I don't think many lenses could do a better job in those conditions.

Re: Wide angle wide aperture prime - PL15/1.7, O17/1.8 or P20/1.7

I have spent quite a lot of money with eglobal and the only problem I've had is slow delivery, but I can live with that.

Re: Comparing the new 12-40 Pro with the 12-60 SWD on an E-M1

Slightly off topic, but when I first received my mft 12-40 I did some comparison shots with the old 12-60 and found that the 12-60 was wider at 12mm than the 12-40. I just had a look for the shots...

Re: First attempt at cricket photography

Out - definitely

Re: Peak district book
