Re: Lens recommendation

Can I also add that I've also go a Yaschica 50mm 1:2 (from 80s) with an adapter and a Panasonic Lumix 20mm 1:1.7.
Is any of my kit any good for macro or would a dedicated lens always be better?...

I have a 12 - 40 1: 2.8 Pro - which I will keep on the camera most of the time. I've just purchased a 40 - 150...

Question Lens confusion

Hi there.
I'm having a lens issue which should be easy to solve by buying a different lens, if only I knew what to buy.
I have a 14-40 1:2.8 Pro for use with my E-M5II which I'm very happy with -...

Re: Night lights photo question

Thank you for this Graham. This looks interesting and I may get to try it out sometime. But I'm trying to work out what can be managed hand-held and this video looks to use long exposures = tripod or...

Re: Night lights photo question

Yes, I tried that a couple of evenings back on 'hand-held starlight' and 'nightscene' but couldn't get it to work.

Thinking about it, I still had the camera set on silent shutter at that point and...

Night lights photo question

I've never done anything in the way of night photography and as I'm off to Rome soon, I'm hoping to get some street night shots.
Can you suggest settings that will give me good clear images in most...

Re: EM5 Mk II Newbie needing help.

Thank you John. I may well use the Panny 20mm sometime. I'm already finding the new kit much lighter as I've previously been using my Nikon D7100 with 18-200 VR but I was struggling with the weight...

Re: EM5 Mk II Newbie needing help.

Thank you all for your help so far. I think I'm making progress and as with most things, they become clear given time, so I was probably a little premature with my first post as things are starting...

Re: Hello from the Kent Coast

Thank you all for your encouragement. Some things I'm finding rather confusing but things are getting better each day and I'm starting to get some decent images out of it.

Sorry, just realised there's a sub-forum for the EM5 Mk II. Can I move this post or is a moderator needed?

EM5 Mk II Newbie needing help.

This is probably obvious to seasoned photographers who know this system but here goes:

I've just bought the EM5 Mk II with the 12-40 2.8 Pro lens. I'm wading through menus etc learning a little...

Hello from the Kent Coast

Hi there.
I've just bought a OMD 5 MKII (the dSLR has got too heavy for travelling with) I hope this new purchase will do the job -if I ever make sense of the menus!
