Yes, I will try and put the (very annoying) "wobble" to the back of my mind. The optical performance of the lens is really ridiculously good. And combined with the similarly ridiculously good...

Thanks - that's reassuring. I would say mine has much less wobble than 2-3mm. It's probably < 1mm. And optically, I cannot detect any flaw with the lens whatsoever; it is excellent.

The only other "anomaly" I have noticed is that the 12-40 lens is a bit wobbly at the front. More so when extended, but even at 12mm...

I just got a new EM1 yesterday, so still finding my way around the camera. I too have noticed a strange noise coming from the camera, and googling brought me here.

One noise is clearly the IS...
