That's okay if you're using a lens with a shortish focal length and a small aperture, but if you want subject isolation AF is a clear winner

I agree, the purity of the image is best preserved in the mind. That has been my excuse in the past for shooting without film in the camera!

There is a scoring system in the Gallery, you can rate a picture from 1 to 10 and add a comment if you wish. :)

I think the buttons have always been there, Mark, but maybe their use has increased recently. I notice that collectively we make less comments in the Gallery than we used to.
