I've tried it on a number of images - 16 and 20 Mp m43 imagess and also from a few other cameras like the Fuji xe1 and Sony A7rii and have failed to see any difference at all.

You can't go wrong with the 17/1.8, or the Panasonic 15/1.7 or even the Panasonic 20/1.7. The little Panasonic 12-32 is excellent too and very compact.

You can do almost the same with Photoshop. Take 16 shots in camera (easy with E-M1ii eshutter at 60 fps with frame limiter). Bring them all into PS as layers and re-size them all to 200% in size....
