Went to Welford Park yesterday as the forecast was for cloudy/sunny skies, but turned out to be yet another wrong forecast and bright, blue skies.
Another mistake was watching YouTube vids and...

Re: Show Your Snowdrop Pictures
That looks sooooo much better than numerous NT properties that promote their Snowdrops as a reason to visit, and if you do, discover it's a huge dissapointment.
I intend going there either...

Re: New silver E-M1 Mark II camera
I noticed Wilkinson Cameras have it advertised on pre-order for £150 more than a black body, plus no min £200 for PE (which could be worth a further £150'ish if buying the likes of an early Pen body...

Re: Olympus 150-400 Rumour
But the Canon 100-400mm + 1.4x TC (that I was looking at earlier today) can be bought (hdew) for £1,599, and if used with an aps-c Canon with a crop factor of x1.6. So it's 4.5-5.6, but witha...

Re: Olympus 150-400 Rumour
They further confuse future options.
As Pro lenses will they take the 1.4 and 2.0x teleconverters?
But will they be more fat, white, super expensive lenses similar to the 150-400?

Re: Olympus 150-400 Rumour
At least the 2x TC is going to be black.
Wonder how much a black lenscoat for the 150 -300mm will cost?

Re: Olympus 150 - 400
Whenever I use my 300mm f4 + 1.4x TC, my OMD EM1 ii gets through batteries in no time, perhaps it's the lens, the type of usage it gets, or a bit of both.
So I'm wondering whether a much larger...

Re: Olympus 150 - 400
Speculation that the 150 - 400mm might be acheived by means of a 120 - 320mm zoom with an integral 1.25 teleconvertor interested me.
Could that produce the cheaper, lighter, more compact lens that...
