That was taken with the E620 with the kit lens. I was doing training for the 3 peaks and borrowed the Mrs camera as it was lighter than my E30 with the 14-54

Re the Hartford picture you are right that its more of a record shat of something than a picture that stands out. in terms of a record shot I would be tempted to clone out the bit of mess on the wall...

If you have a macro lens and lightbox i would try simply photographing the negatives and then righting to a positive in software

IMO the Galaxy is a clear last place as it's harsh, not so much between the other...
