v/finder shimmer
another question when I look through the viewfinder on this camera I get what the best way to describe it is a shimmer effect ,this is with all 3 of my lenses panasonic 100-400 ,pan 12-60 ,and pan 45-150 the pictures come out o.k but its annoying .
this does not happen on my panasonic g80 ,any suggestions

Re: v/finder shimmer
just tried switching EVF in menu to S-OVF to emulate a dslr v/f and it seems to have helped find out more in use

I'm not sure quite what you mean by shimmering in the EVF but in my view switching to S-OVF gets rid of one of the real benefits of having an electronic viewfinder i.e. that you can see exactly what your changes are doing directly. I use that feature all the time to watch the image and tweak the exposure compensation dial. Going back to the shimmering have you got the orange and blue over and under clipping blinkies on? is that what you are seeing? I didn't use them for ages then inadvertently switched the feature on. I was initially anti but now I've quite got used to them and as I can't remember how to turn them off (:o) I have left them on and do find them quite useful too.
