Sorry for being a bit thick but is that -

up to three votes and each vote must be for a different picture or
up to three votes and two or more can be for the same picture or
three votes, no more no less, with either of the above per picture

Again, sorry for not quite understanding what is required.

Cheers
Keith

Not sure how you could vote more than once for any photo! To clarify, you are now able to choose three photos to "LIKE". Don't have too though.

Thanks MJ224 for the clarification.

Re voting more than once for any photo, that was because I didn't know whether, if you pressed 'Like' twice, you would actually post two Likes. I presume, now, only one of the 'Like's' will register. *chr

If you try it out, you will find once you have "Liked", the only option is to "Remove your Like".....

And Thanks don't count.....*chr

Now it's my turn to be a bit thick. Are these challenges for shots taken within the particular month or can they be shots taken at any time in the past just posted in the challenge? Had a look through the thread rules but couldn't quite decide sorry to be a bit dim this morning :o.

Hi Phil, We have done away with the timed submissions, for the moment anyway. As long as the photo has been taken with an Olympus camera, you are in...

Theoretically, you could have taken the photo years ago. Personally, I try to take my submission during the relevant month.

Comprenez vous mantenant?? *chr

Yep I'm with it now thanks. Might just have to try to find something to enter then :)

A stunning set of submissions this month. Need 10 votes, not three.....*chr

I thought that July might not have been the best month to take "Night Lights", but I was wrong (nothing unusual). Look forward to your submission Phil, last dance tomorrow night......:D

Like you Mark I'd have preferred to have had one from this month but as I've been out of action and not been able to pick up the camera for quite a part of it then I've resorted to this old one from a visit to London.

John

I have asked them to sort it. Also have asked admin to clear any premature voting. But not gonna get excited about it......*chr

Premature voting cleared...

I agree some really nice pictures this month.. choosing three votes could be harder than just one was in the past.

My first entry in competition here.

Crete Cement ran aground. She took in more water than she could discharge. The captain decided to ground her again in one of the areai in the Oslofjord designated for such action. She settled almost half submerged with a starboard list. Note the oil stain across her superstructure.
A Dutch salvage company brought her afloat with help from a norwegian floating crane.

Her cargo of cement, in bulk, hardened and she was later scrapped.

The original, w 3300 by h 4204 is a lot better than the thumbnail. Even my reduced size image is OK, but turned into a thumbnail.

I need to be educated. In the mean time, I'll try again :)
Took a while, but image is now in my gallery.

I know its to late, but I would greately appreciate your honest critique.

I am a big boy, so don't worry about hurting my feelings. It's not like you'all could see tears in my eyes anyway:)
