Guess the iso.

I haven't been out with my camera for a while so decided to have a go with different settings to those I normally use.

There's nothing special about the image however, I'd be interested to hear your opinion on what iso setting the camera was on to take the image.

I used my E-M1 II with a 12-40mm lens, the camera was set to aperture mode @f2.8 and spot meter was used.

The image has been edited in Lightroom.

Please ask if any other information is required.

Just a bit of fun to break up the grey weather we've been experiencing recently.

Thanks for looking and/or commenting.

Was this taken with studio lights or a flash?

No studio lights or flash used, just normal ceiling light used however, WB was corrected in LR.

It has to be higher, so 1600

Any particular reason for your guess?

Its the subject matter, complex images tend to distract you from looking at the noise, so I am guessing its higher than you might expect.

I purposely went higher than Bengeo to just put in a different number. That said, I think I am at the high end of the possible range. Also, I doubt anyone can tell the difference between iso 64, 100, 200 up to about 500 given the subject and a single shot, but I am no expert.

Can't wait to hear the actual ISO.

I'll stick my neck out and say ISO 3200, not because it is particularly noisy (although there is some fine structured noise in the OOF background) but because I believe the camera can produce good results at this sort of ISO.

From the lighting I would guess at high ISO, but it looks very good.
Correct exposure and perhaps some noise reduction in processing. It could be higher than my guess.

I would also say 6400 as that is the default Auto ISO upper setting in the E-M1 Mk II, something I don't mind using most of the time (that is, using Auto ISO).

Nice quiz, I'll go for 3200. If it's 6400 I'll definitely start using higher iso more often :)

Please don't let it be high ISO, else I shall be craving the Mark ii :-)
