Political Wonderings ?

Labour left a right mess with Alistair Darlings letter in the CASH BOX for the Conservatives "sorry, nothing left"

Austerity has been the order of the day ever since ...

I believe the Conservatives/Libs had an almighty WAR on their hands with our mess of UK finances ... we have not YET recovered ...

Growth has halved to 0.3 down from 0.6 :) we are teetering on the precipice

International Investors have taken £'s Billions out of UK Funds in March - worried that Labour may win this election ... THIS will slow our recovery

http://www.theguardian.com/business/...k-equity-funds

and these are old stats - more up to date stats will show more Investor Funds have gone since ...

We the UK are NOT SHOPPING ! Houses are not being purchased - because Labour may cut stamp duty on under £300,000 homes !

Housebuilders are way down on the number of homes we need (for our birth and marraige/partnerships ; attaining Own home age etc., :( )

Mortgages are difficult to come by for young people the required deposit is still WAY TOO HIGH in relation to average and even middle incomes with current house prices (which are falling) ... over 40's are finding Mortgages difficult to come by because not enough years in work to repay Interest & Capital Mortgages (now that Interest only and Self Certification Mortgages are gone :(

When not buying homes, we are not buying lots of New Homes Goods (carpets ; curtains ; new fridges/freezers ; washing machines etc.,)

The Home improvement Market is down (ancillary sales and services) :( because people do not know what is to COME post the Election - maybe even another Election if a hung Parliament !

My feelings are that

a) if the Conservatives get back in, there shall be more "Austerity Cuts" but have got us out of a "Greek Disaster, so far" ?

b) if Labour get in, will they run up "the Credit Debt again" as they have in the past ... and take us into a Greek Distaster ?

c) I do not want my home country to get in the same situation as Greece, it is hell out there for the people and with their refusal to abide by EU Austerity and Taxes ... can it get better ?

What do you feel about the UK right now ? *chr

Maybe I just do not understand the situation we are in ?

Quite possibly, I don't think the politicians do.

Sorry, being infrequent here I had not seen that ... although reading it - it is more about question time and I did not watch these progs :( lies, lies and politicians damned lies "albeit by Parliamentary privilege" a legal principal that many people do not realise nor understand its existence and legal status exempt from libel and slander writs !

As an infrequent visitor myself, I know how easy it is to build up a seemingly high post count through comments in Foto Fair. ;)
